ErfoudErfoud is an oasis in the south of Morocco, on the edge of the Saharan desert. It is near the Erg Chebbi dunes and allows tourists to take a camel ride on the dunes and enjoy the desert, only a short drive from the mountains. We happened to overlap our visit with a rally of old Peugeots across North Africa, which led to a fascinating hotel stay with a lot of sunburned, tired, beer-seeking French adventurers. The hotel also featured an extremely bizarre (and rather hot) rooftop mini golf course, which we insisted on playing despite the occasional tin-roof hazard.
